Summer 2009

Were all gearing upnow for the next season and lets hope he credit crunch is not going to affect the tourists from coming to marbella too much. As we have plenty lined up for the next year from new D.J´s to LIVE bands and new themed party nights throughout the seasons. So dont forget to check us out down here.

St. Patrick´s Day 2009

St. Patricks Day 2008 was one of our best yet, and thankfully it did not rain. The bar was televised for irish T V and was the busiest all night throughout the port. We would like to thank everyone that visited us on that day because it was a unforgettable day and night for all our management and staff that were working. We are looking forward to the celebrations this coming year, so if you want the best party in town look no further, you may even be on T.V here at o´gradys !!!

Karaoke

Since O´Grady´s opened many years ago we have always been known for our Karaoke nights. New to 2009 we will be hosting Karaoke every night throughout the season, so all you Talented or not so Talented singers head to ogradys where we will be glad to play your requests.

Sporting Events

What a year for sports hey, Ricky losing was a dissapointment but we are sure he will claw his way back in to the top of the boxing world. Lets just hope Ireland and England manage to get through to the finals of the World Cup. Remember you can catch all the live Sports here at O Grady´s.

Themed Parties

As most people know we are famous in the summer for our SCHOOL DISCO PARTY ( On Sundays ), we introduced a new party last year as well. GREASE ran every Wednesday night. But for our latest summer party we will be doing is MOULIN ROUGE. We did a trial night on Sunday 20th May and it went down fantastically ( check out the photo´s in the gallery page ). So if all you Hen and Stags are stuck for choice, look no further than our gallery for some ideas.

Food

At the start of the year we introduced O´Briens Sandwiches into O´Grady´s Corner bar. They provide to us daily freshly made sandwiches for us along with crisps and snacks. While most bars that sell food close at 11pm we provide top quality sandwiches from 12 in the afternoon till the early hours of the morning.

Promotions and Events

In Nov (2006) O'Grady's held one of the biggest parties of the year. IBERIA were the hosts to the ABTA convention at O'Grady's. Close to 2000 delegates were welcomed here for the 3 day convention. We have just currently joined forces with Discounts Direct. Who offer drink promotions on both our establishments ( O´Grady´s and O´Grady´s Corner ).

D.J´s

As usual at O Gradys we provide all the up to date music aswell as all the top hits from previous decades. Our main D J Johan is still here after seven years and will be continuing to work here through the summer. We have a new D J that has started with us,Ricky, will be playing three nights a week throughout the summer aswell.

End of 2008

Well thats another year to add to the collection, and what a year we had. Were all gearing up now for the next season were there will be some rather different changes. We will be closed during the months of December and January due to quite a large refurbishment. this will be taking place in one side of the bar and upstairs in the pool room. So we hope that you will be joining us for the next season to check us out. regards steve manager
